Journalism Seminar - First Edition

Following our Board of Advisors' retreat in December 2022, and after several months of consultation with our partners at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism, the Center inaugurated its first in-person journalism seminar for fifteen outstanding Latin American and Caribbean journalists. Hosted by colleagues at Internews and The Washington Post, the participants were presented with cutting-edge investigative and news reporting techniques. All forms of media were covered and discussions produced excellent crosstalk and synergy across national and personal experience boundaries. Based on participants' surveys, the Center and its partners will continue to refine the seminar content for our next edition.
